A novel dual photoplethysmograph (PPG) probe and measurement system for local pulse wave velocity (PWV) is proposed and demonstrated. The developed probe design employs reflectance PPG transducers for non-invasive detection of blood pulse propagation waveforms from two adjacent measurement points (28 mm apart).
