Cutaneous wound healing by medicinal plants which have fewer side effects than chemical drugs have been on the increase. In our study, we evaluated cutaneous wound healing potential of Allium eriophyllum Boiss aqueous extract ointment in rats. In in vivo design, after creating the cutaneous wound on the back of the rats, the animals were randomly divided into four groups: untreated control, treatment with Eucerin ointment, treatment with 3% tetracycline ointment, treatment with 3% A… Expand

Assessment of antioxidant and cutaneous wound healing effects of Falcaria vulgaris aqueous extract in Wistar male rats
TLDR
Cutaneous wound healing potential of aqueous extract of Falcaria vulgaris in Wistar male rats is evaluated and it is found that F. vulgaris aQueous extract ointment can treat the cutaneous wound. Expand
Wound Healing Potential of Methanolic Extract of Scrophularia striata in Rats
TLDR
Application of S. striata extract on wounds induces considerable wound contraction and accelerates healing and it may be suggested for treating different types of wounds in animal and human beings. Expand
The evidence based wound healing activity of Lawsonia inermis Linn.
TLDR
Enhanced wound contraction, increased skin breaking strength, hydroxyproline and histological findings suggest the use of L. inermis in the management of wound healing. Expand
Evaluation of the Wound Healing Activity of Chenopodium botrys Leaves Essential Oil in Rats (A Short-Term Study)
TLDR
The present research indicates the cutaneous wound healing activity of CB, suggesting it to be used as a therapeutic supplement. Expand
The aqueous extract of Allium saralicum R.M. Fritsch effectively treat induced anemia: experimental study on Wistar rats
TLDR
Because of aqueous extract of A. saralicum leaf anti-anemic property, it can be used as a medical supplement or drug and prevented pathological changes in the liver and spleen. Expand
Modulation of cutaneous wound healing by silymarin in rats.
TLDR
Topical application of silymarin improved the morphological, biochemical and biomechanical properties of experimentally-induced wound defects in rats, and significantly improved alignment of the healing tissue, enhanced maturity of the collagen fibres and fibroblasts, and increased the ultimate tensile strength and stress of the Healing tissue. Expand
The Effect of the "Falcaria Vulgaris" on Deep Skin Wound Remodeling Time and Skin Tension Power in Rats
TLDR
"Ghaze-yaghi" has positive effects on the skin wound healing and it is recommended that more studies be done for finding the mechanism which makes these effects influential. Expand
Antidiabetic, hematoprotective and nephroprotective effects of the aqueous extract of Falcaria vulgaris in diabetic male mice
TLDR
Findings show that the aqueous extract of F. vulgaris produces favorable antidiabetic, hematoprotective and nephroprotective effects and can improve renal structural and blood biomarkers in STZ-induced nephrotoxicity in mice. Expand
Evaluation of wound healing, anti-microbial and antioxidant potential of Pongamia pinnata in wistar rats
TLDR
Increased wound contraction and tensile strength, augmented hydroxyproline and hexosamine content, antioxidative activity and moderate antimicrobial activity support the early wound healing exhibited by P. pinnata. Expand
