In the present paper, the propagation of Rayleigh waves in a strongly heterogeneous medium is discussed. Scattering of stress waves is a difficult scientific problem. Specifically, the interaction of surface waves with distributed inhomogeneity seems highly complicated due to the existence of two displacement components.
