BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES The natural history of stage A-1 (Tla) prostate cancer remains unpredictable. Although stage A-1 (Tla) was traditionally considered an indolent lesion, recent reports have documented the potential progression of stage A-1 (Tla) cancer.
