We propose a novel type of interpolating field operator, which manifests the hybrid-like configuration that the charm quark-antiquark pair recoils against gluonic degrees of freedom. A heavy vector charmonium-like state with a mass of 4.33(2),GeV is disentangled from the conventional charmonium states in the quenched approximation. This state has affinity for the hybrid-like operators but couples less to the relevant quark bilinear operator. We also try to extract its leptonic decay constant…

We report initial results from our study of the masses and decay constants of the lightest multiplet of charmonium-like hybrid mesons. We obtain precise measurements of the 1−+ state through the use

Status of quarkonia-like negative and positive parity states in a relativistic confinement scheme

Properties of quarkonia-like states in the charm and bottom sector have been studied in the frame work of relativistic Dirac formalism with a linear confinement potential. We have computed the mass

This work reviews BESIII results involving conventional charmonium states, including the first observation of the M1 transition ψ( 2S) → γηc(2S) and the discovery of the ψ2(3823) state; reports on studies of charmonialike states, and investigates the resolution of the fine structure of the Y(4260) state.

Opportunities in Flavour Physics at the HL-LHC and HE-LHC

Motivated by the success of the flavour physics programme carried out over the last decade at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), we characterize in detail the physics potential of its High-Luminosity

X (4260) revisited: A coupled channel perspective

We calculate the probabilities of various charmed meson molecules for X (4260) under the framework of the P-3(0) model. The results indicate that, even though heavy quark spin symmetry forbids S wave

The BESIII and the LHCb became the leading experiments in the study of the exotic states after the Belle and BaBar experiments finished their data taking in the first decade of this century. We

Experimental Review of Hadron Spectroscopy

Since the invention of the quark model in 1964 hadrons are formed from a quark-antiquark pair called mesons or three quarks called baryons. However, QCD-motivated models for hadrons predict more co...

Excited and exotic charmonium spectroscopy from lattice QCD

A bstractWe present a spectrum of highly excited charmonium mesons up to around 4.5 GeV calculated using dynamical lattice QCD. Employing novel computational techniques and the variational method

Glueball spectrum and matrix elements on anisotropic lattices

The glueball-to-vacuum matrix elements of local gluonic operators in scalar, tensor, and pseudoscalar channels are investigated numerically on several anisotropic lattices with the spatial lattice

Charmonium in lattice QCD and the nonrelativistic quark model

We compare the results of a numerical lattice QCD calculation of the charmonium spectrum with the structure of a general nonrelativistic potential model. To achieve this we form the nonrelativistic

Scalar Glueball in Radiative $J/\psi$ Decay on the Lattice

The form factors in the radiative decay of J/psi to a scalar glueball are studied within quenched lattice QCD on anisotropic lattices. The continuum extrapolation is carried out by using two

Quarkonium Hybrids with Nonrelativistic Effective Field Theories

We construct a nonrelativistic effective field theory description of heavy quarkonium hybrids from QCD. We identify the symmetries of the system made of a heavy quark, a heavy antiquark, and glue in

Hybrid (exotic) mesons, which are important predictions of quantum chromodynamics (QCD), are states of quarks and antiquarks bound by excited gluons. First principle lattice study of such states

Quenched Charmed Meson Spectra Using Tadpole Improved Quark Action on Anisotropic Lattices

Charmed meson charmonium spectra are studied with improved quark actions on anisotropic lattices. We measured the pseudo-scalar and vector meson dispersion relations for four lowest lattice momentum
