}OBJECTIVES
To explore the effects of exercise training on body composition, cardiovascular function, and physical fitness in 5-year-old obese and lean children. [] Key Method Body composition, cardiovascular function, and physical fitness were measured at baseline and the end of the intervention. The exercise groups participated in 10 weeks of supervised moderate intensity exercise training (at 50% of heart rate reserve), 50 training sessions in total.

It is suggested that both low- and high-intensity training significantly reduced body weight and fat mass while increasing fat-free mass in individuals with obesity and a significant increase in VO2max also occurs in Individuals with obesity in response to aerobic training or high- intensity interval training.

A supervised one-time per week fitness program combined with pedometer and pedometer alone were not different in reducingBlood pressure, as both groups showed decreases in blood pressure, but the group with the supervised exercise program tended to change sedentary behaviors in the longer term.
