This research investigated if lifestyle strategies including caloric restriction or nutritional supplementation with protein and vitamin D, combined with exercise could provide an additive effect on glycaemic control, insulin sensitivity, body composition and cardiovascular related risk factors compared to exercise alone in older overweight/obese adults with type 2 diabetes.
