This work is a pioneering study of backward-angle omega cross sections through the exclusive 1H(e,e'p)omega reaction using the missing mass reconstruction technique. The extracted cross sections are separated into the transverse (T), longitudinal (L), and LT, TT interference terms. The analyzed data were part of experiment E01-004 (Fpi-2), which used 2.6-5.2GeV electron beams and HMS+SOS spectrometers in Jefferson Lab Hall C. The primary objective was to detect coincidence pion in the forward…

Deeply virtual and exclusive electroproduction of ω-mesons
Abstract. The exclusive ω electroproduction off the proton was studied in a large kinematical domain above the nucleon resonance region and for the highest possible photon virtuality (Q2) with the
Electroproduction of single pions at low E and a measurement of the pion form factor up to Q = 10 G~V~
We report measurements of the electroproduction of single charged pions from hydrogen and deuterium targets for values of epsilon in the range 0.35 < epsilon < 0.45. Data were taken with a hydrogen
Exclusive leptoproduction of $\rho^0$ mesons from hydrogen at intermediate virtual photon energies
Abstract. Measurements of the cross section for exclusive virtual-photoproduction of $\rho^0$ mesons from hydrogen are reported. The data were collected by the HERMES experiment using 27.5 GeV
Spin density matrix elements in exclusive ρ0 electroproduction on 1H and 2H targets at 27.5 GeV beam energy
Spin Density Matrix Elements (SDMEs) describing the angular distribution of exclusive ρ0 electroproduction and decay are determined in the HERMES experiment with 27.6 GeV beam energy and unpolarized
Electron-Ion Collider: The next QCD frontier
Abstract. This White Paper presents the science case of an Electron-Ion Collider (EIC), focused on the structure and interactions of gluon-dominated matter, with the intent to articulate it to the
Near threshold electroproduction of the omega meson at Q2 ~ 0.5 GeV2
Jefferson Lab. Measurement of the cross section for electroproduction of the OMEGA meson in the reaction E- P --& gt; E- OMEGA P near threshold. The experiment was conducted in Hall C of the
Measurement of elastic ω photoproduction at HERA ZEUS Collaboration
The reaction γp →ωp(ω → π+π−π0 and π0 → γ γ) has been studied in ep interactions using the ZEUS detector at photon-proton centre-of-mass energies between 70 and 90GeV and ∣t∣ < 0.6GeV2, where t is
Experimental access to Transition Distribution Amplitudes with the P̄ANDA experiment at FAIR
Baryon-to-meson Transition Distribution Amplitudes (TDAs) encoding valuable new information on hadron structure appear as building blocks in the collinear factorized description for several types of
Measurement of the charged pion electromagnetic form factor.
The results indicate that the pion form factor in this region is larger than previously assumed and is consistent with a monopole parametrization fitted to very low Q2 elastic data.
