We explore the spectrum of excited and exotic bottomonia using lattice QCD. Highly excited states are identified with masses up to 11,000 MeV, many of which can be grouped into supermultiplets matching those of the quark model while exotic spin-parity-charge-conjugation quantum numbers J PC = 0 + − , 1 − + , 2 + − that cannot be formed from q ¯ q $$ \overline{q}q $$ alone are also identified. Single-meson operator constructions are used that have good J PC in the continuum, these are found to…

Determination of hybrid charmonium meson masses
We report initial results from our study of the masses and decay constants of the lightest multiplet of charmonium-like hybrid mesons. We obtain precise measurements of the 1−+ state through the use

The lightest hybrid meson supermultiplet in QCD
We interpret the spectrum of meson states recently obtained in non-perturbative lattice QCD calculations in terms of constituent quark-antiquark bound states and states, called 'hybrids', in which
Excited and exotic charmonium, Ds and D meson spectra for two light quark masses from lattice QCD
A bstractWe present highly-excited charmonium, Ds and D meson spectra from dynamical lattice QCD calculations with light quarks corresponding to Mπ ∼ 240 MeV and compare these to previous results
Excited and exotic charmonium spectroscopy from lattice QCD
A bstractWe present a spectrum of highly excited charmonium mesons up to around 4.5 GeV calculated using dynamical lattice QCD. Employing novel computational techniques and the variational method
Excited state baryon spectroscopy from lattice QCD
Here, we present a calculation of the Nucleon and Delta excited state spectrum on dynamical anisotropic clover lattices. A method for operator construction is introduced that allows for the reliable
Bottomonium spectrum from lattice QCD with 2 + 1 flavors of domain wall fermions
Recently, realistic lattice QCD calculations with 2+1 flavors of domain wall fermions and the Iwasaki gauge action have been performed by the RBC and UKQCD Collaborations. Here, results for the
Lattice Prediction for Deeply Bound Doubly Heavy Tetraquarks.
Motivated by observations from heavy baryon phenomenology, two lattice interpolating operators are considered, both of which are expected to couple efficiently to tetraquark states: one with a diquark-antidiquark and a meson-meson structure.
Isoscalar meson spectroscopy from lattice QCD
We extract to high statistical precision an excited spectrum of single-particle isoscalar mesons using lattice QCD, including states of high spin and, for the first time, light exotic JPC isoscalars.
Excited meson radiative transitions from lattice QCD using variationally optimized operators
We explore the use of optimized operators, designed to interpolate only a single meson eigenstate, in three-point correlation functions with a vector-current insertion. These operators are
Toward the excited meson spectrum of dynamical QCD
We present a detailed description of the extraction of the highly excited isovector meson spectrum on dynamical anisotropic lattices using a new quark-field construction algorithm and a large
The XYZ states: Experimental and theoretical status and perspectives
The quark model was formulated in 1964 to classify mesons as bound states made of a quark-antiquark pair, and baryons as bound states made of three quarks. For a long time all known mesons and
