We investigate the non-equilibrium dynamics of the symmetry-resolved Rényi entropies in a one-dimensional gas of non-interacting spinless fermions by means of quantum generalised hydrodynamics, which recently allowed to obtain very accurate results for the total entanglement in inhomogeneous quench settings. Although our discussion is valid for any quench setting accessible with quantum generalised hydrodynamics, we focus on the case of a quantum gas initially prepared in a bipartite fashion…

Entanglement resolution of free Dirac fermions on a torus

: Whenever a system possesses a conserved charge, the density matrix splits into eigenspaces associated to the each symmetry sector and we can access the entanglement entropy in a given subspace,

A Path Integral Ground State Monte Carlo Algorithm for Entanglement of Lattice Bosons

A ground state path integral quantum Monte Carlo algorithm is introduced that allows for the study of entanglement in lattice bosons at zero temperature. The Rényi entanglement entropy between

Page curve and symmetries

Motivated by the quantum process of black hole evaporation and its implications for symmetries, we consider a qubit system with a random dynamics as a toy model of black hole. We compute its

Symmetry-resolved Page curves

Given a statistical ensemble of quantum states, the corresponding Page curve quantifies the average entanglement entropy associated with each possible spatial bipartition of the system. In this work,

Multi-charged moments of two intervals in conformal field theory

We study the multi-charged moments for two disjoint intervals in the ground state of two 1 + 1 dimensional CFTs with central charge c = 1 and global U(1) symmetry: the massless Dirac field theory and

Negativity Hamiltonian: An Operator Characterization of Mixed-State Entanglement.

In the context of ground states of quantum many-body systems, the locality of entanglement between connected regions of space is directly tied to the locality of the corresponding entanglement

Symmetry-Resolved Entanglement in Many-Body Systems.

The total entanglement entropy, which scales as lnL, is composed of sqrt[lnL] contributions of individual subsystem charge sectors for interacting fermion chains, or even O(L^{0}) contributions when total spin conservation is also accounted for.

Branch Point Twist Field Form Factors in the sine-Gordon Model II: Composite Twist Fields and Symmetry Resolved Entanglement

In this paper we continue the program initiated in Part I, that is the study of entanglement measures in the sine-Gordon model. In both parts, we have focussed on one specific technique, that is the

Symmetry resolved entanglement in free fermionic systems

We consider the symmetry resolved Rényi entropies in the one dimensional tight binding model, equivalent to the spin-1/2 XX chain in a magnetic field. We exploit the generalised Fisher–Hartwig

Conformal Field Theory for Inhomogeneous One-dimensional Quantum Systems: the Example of Non-Interacting Fermi Gases

Conformal field theory (CFT) has been extremely successful in describing large-scale universal effects in one-dimensional (1D) systems at quantum critical points. Unfortunately, its applicability in

Exact entanglement growth of a one-dimensional hard-core quantum gas during a free expansion

We consider the non-equilibrium dynamics of the entanglement entropy of a one-dimensional quantum gas of hard-core particles, initially confined in a box potential at zero temperature. At t = 0 the

Density‐matrix spectra for integrable models

The spectra which occur in numerical density‐matrix renormalization group (DMRG) calculations for quantum chains can be obtained analytically for integrable models via corner transfer matrices. This
