An intelligent hybrid approach has been developed to integrate various stages in total design, including formulation of productdesign specifications,conceptualdesign, detail design, and manufacture.The integration is achieved by blending multiple artificial intelligence (AI) techniquesand CAD/CAE/CAM into a single environment.
