It is proved that NOS is both a scale-free and smallworld network, and the fact that graph databases could serve as an efficient tool for analyzing such network models for stock markets is revealed.

Model-independent methods for embedding directed networks into Euclidean and hyperbolic spaces

A framework based on the dimension reduction of proximity matrices reflecting the network topology, coupled with a general conversion method transforming Euclidean node coordinates into hyperbolic ones even for directed networks is proposed.

Label entropy‐based cooperative particle swarm optimization algorithm for dynamic overlapping community detection in complex networks

A hybrid algorithm, that is, Collaborative Particle Swarm multiobjective Optimization‐based Dynamic Overlapping Community Detection (CPSO‐DOCD) algorithm is proposed in this paper, which performed better than MDOA, MCMOEA, SLPAD, and iLCD on C‐metric values, and CPSO‐ DOCD can approach approximately to the Pareto frontier.

Two novel immunization strategies for epidemic control in directed scale-free networks with nonlinear infectivity

This work is the first to divide the whole population into different types and embed appropriate immunization scheme according to the characteristics of the population, and it will benefit the study of immunization and control of infectious diseases on complex networks.

Structural and Evolutionary Analysis of Developer Networks

The results suggest that the organizational structure of large software projects is constrained to evolve towards a state that balances the costs and benefits of coordination, and the mechanisms used to achieve this state depend on the project’s scale.

The web of federal crimes in Brazil: topology, weaknesses, and control

A unique criminal network of federal crimes in Brazil, composed of multiple crimes of federal jurisdiction has a giant component, enclosing more than a half of all its edges, and is controllable in the sense of the exact network control theory.

Synchronization in networks with multiple interaction layers

This work proposes a general framework to assess the stability of the synchronized state in networks with multiple interaction layers, deriving a necessary condition that generalizes the master stability function approach and shows that highly rich phenomenology emerges from this.

Complex quantum network geometries: Evolution and phase transitions.

Networks are topological and geometric structures used to describe systems as different as the Internet, the brain, or the quantum structure of space-time. Here we define complex quantum network

Complex Quantum Network Manifolds in Dimension d > 2 are Scale-Free

The generalized degrees associated with the -faces of the -dimensional CQNMs are defined, and it is shown that the statistics of these generalized degrees can either follow Fermi-Dirac, Boltzmann or Bose-Einstein distributions depending on the dimension of the-faces.
