We measure the charge asymmetry A ≡ (N++ - N--)/(N++ + N--) of like-sign dimuon events in 6.1 fb-1 of pp collisions recorded with the D0 detector at a center-of-mass energy square root(s) = 1.96   TeV at the Fermilab Tevatron collider. From A we extract the like-sign dimuon charge asymmetry in semileptonic b-hadron decays: A(sl)(b) = -0.009 57 ± 0.002 51(stat) ± 0.001 46(sys). It differs by 3.2 standard deviations from the standard model prediction A(sl)(b)(SM) = (-2.3(-0.6)(+0.5)) × 10(-4…
Measurement of the direct CP-violating charge asymmetry in Ds ± → ϕ π ± decays.
A measurement of the direct CP-violating charge asymmetry in Ds+ → ϕ π(±) decays where the ϕ meson decays to K(+)K(-, which is the most precise measurement of this quantity to date.
Neutral gauge boson contributions to the dimuon charge asymmetry in B decays
Recently, the DØ Collaboration measured the CP-violating like-sign dimuon charge asymmetry in neutral B decays, finding a 3.2σ difference from the standard-model (SM) prediction. Anon-SM charge
Measurement of the semileptonic charge asymmetry in $B^0$ meson mixing with the D0 detector
We present a measurement of the semileptonic mixing asymmetry for B0 mesons, a^d_{sl}, using two independent decay channels: B0 -> mu+D-X, with D- -> K+pi-pi-; and B0 -> mu+D*-X, with D*- -> antiD0
Background check for anomalous like-sign dimuon charge asymmetry
The D0 Collaboration has reported an excess of roughly 1% of {mu}{sup -{mu}-} pairs over {mu}{sup +{mu}+} pairs in pp collisions at a center-of-mass energy {radical}(s)=1.96 GeV at the Fermilab
A possible explanation of the D0 like-sign dimuon charge asymmetry
We reconsider the recent observation by the D0 experiment of a sizable like-sign dimuon charge asymmetry, highlighting that it could be affected by CP-violating New Physics contributions not only in
Z-mediated charge and CP asymmetries and FCNCs in Bd,s processes
We show model-independently that the negative like-sign charge asymmetry (−Asℓb) is less than 3.16 × 10−3 when the constraints from the $ {B_q} - {\bar{B}_q} $ mixings and the time-dependent CP
Like-Sign Dimuon Asymmetry of B0 Meson and LFV in SU(5) SUSY GUT with S4 Flavor Symmetry
The like-sign dimuon charge asymmetry of the B meson, which was reported in the DO Collaboration, is studied in the SU(5) SUSY GUT model with S4 flavor symmetry. Additional CP violating effects from
Implications of large dimuon CP asymmetry in Bd,s decays on minimal flavor violation with low tan β
The D0 collaboration has recently announced evidence for a dimuon CP asymmetry in Bd,s decays of order one percent. If confirmed, this asymmetry requires new physics. We argue that for minimally
Like-sign dimuon charge asymmetry in the Randall-Sundrum model
We confirm that in order to account for the recent D0 result of large like-sign dimuon charge asymmetry, a considerable large new physics effect in {Gamma}{sub 12}{sup s} is required in addition to a

The Belle Collaboration
Using 980 fb−1 of data on and around the Υ(nS)(n = 1, 2, 3, 4, 5) resonances collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e− collider, the twophoton process γγ → γψ(2S) is
Less space for a new family of fermions
We investigate the experimentally allowed parameter space of an extension of the standard model (SM3) by one additional family of fermions. Therefore we extend our previous study of the
The D0 Collaboration
A search for the Higgs boson is presented in H → WW ∗ → μτhad decays in pp collisions at a center-of-mass energy of √ s = 1.96 TeV. Final states containing hadronically decaying tau τ as well as μ +
Theoretical update of B s − B s mixing
We update the theory predictions for the mass difference ∆M s , the width difference ∆Γ s and the CP asymmetry in flavour-specific decays, a s fs , for the B s −B s system. In particular we present a
