March/April 2001 3 Not to worry, this isn't another column about the U.S. Presidential Election. As you read this, I fully expect the new Bush administration to be comfortably in office, and just a few lingering murmurs about butterfly ballots and the electoral college. No, today I write about an equally serious, but far more current election--the upcoming ballots for the SIGCHI Executive Committee (EC).
