In this experiment, three grasses, bermuda grass (Cynodon dactylon), bent grass (Agrostis palustris Huds.), lawn grass (Zoysia japonica), and a shallow-rooted legume, white clover (Trifolium repens L.) were planted into uncontaminated soil and dibenzofuran (DBF)-contaminated soil.
