An Eulerian/Lagrangian approach is used to calculate the physical forces acting on a spherical bubble. Reynolds average Navier–Stokes (RANS) equations for the Eulerian approach are solved with a finite volume scheme. The SIMPLE algorithm is utilized for pressure and velocity linkage.
