Interpretation of NMR diffusion data is complicated in the presence of diffusion barriers. In this study, restricted diffusion in cylinders is evaluated. A method is presented to determine the diameter of the cylinder and the unrestricted diffusion coefficient from the dependence of the trace of the diffusion tensor with diffusion time.
