Limonia acidissima (L.), Wood-Apple, is an underexploited and edible fruit of family Rutacae which can be consumed either in raw or ripe form. [] Key Result Nutritional analysis of pulp proved it to be a potential source of energy, proteins, dietary fiber, vitamins; ascorbic acid, thiamine, riboflavin, and betacarotene and minerals; phosphorous, magnesium, calcium, iron and zinc. The extracts displayed a moderate antioxidant activity.
