OBJECTIVE To evaluate the efficacy of a commercially available bacterin-toxoid vaccine for preventing Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis-induced abscesses in sheep. DESIGN Prospective randomized controlled trial. ANIMALS 31 mixed-breed sheep seronegative for C pseudotuberculosis.
