Efficacy of oxydemeton methyl, methomyl, dimethoate and azadirachtin as bare-root dip treatment and phorate 10 G as soil application was assessed for reducing nematode densities of plant parasitic nematodes on brinjal Cv. Pusa purple long. Azadirachtin, methomyl and phorate caused more than 50% increase in plant biomass production. Dimethoate and oxydemeton methyl were phytotoxic.
