2 Abstract: Syzygium Samarangense is a potential medicinal drug. We aimed to evaluate the analgesic, anti- inflammatory and CNS activities of the methanolic extract of Syzygium Samarangense leave in mice. The analgesic activity was examined by acetic acid induced writhing and formalin tests. The anti-inflammatory activity was studied using carrageenan induced hind paw edema model.
