We have tested five haemoglobin (Hb) separation apparatuses, dedicated to haemoglobinopathy diagnostics. These are the four high performance liquid chromatography devices: VARIANT II, HA 8160, G7, Ultra(2) and the Capillary Electrophoresis apparatus from Sebia.
