This paper presents performance evaluation of buffer management schemes for routers in Differentiated Services domain. Two variants of Random Early Detection (RED) proposed for multiqueue, traffic-penalizing network were considered. These are RED In-profile-Outof-profile coupled (RIO-C) and RED Inprofile-Out-of-profile Decoupled (RIO-D).
