Geography

This research was conducted in Nohalal-Sudzal Chico, Tekax Township, Yucatan, Mexico. The aim of this study was to determine the composition of woody species, characterize the vertical and horizontal structure and quantify the diversity of woody species in the deciduous forest. Index was used Shannonn-Wiener diversity and species similarity was assessed with the Morisita index for areas of 0.2 ha and 0.1 ha, with 5.8 and 4.2 of diversity and equity 0.829 and 0.805 respectively.
