TLDR
A new phylogeny of Angraecum is presented based on chloroplast sequence data, nuclear ribosomal data, morphological characters and phylogenetic trees and dated divergence times of the phylogeny to evaluate which traits or character states are associated to speciation rates, and inferred ancestral states of these characters.
Reclassification of the Angraecum-alliance (Orchidaceae, Vandoideae) based on molecular and morphological data
TLDR
Results of molecular analysis compared with morphological studies were used for reclassification of the Angraecumalliance (Orchidaceae) and five new genera are described including a key to the genera.
Diversification of Angraecum (Orchidaceae, Vandeae) in Madagascar: Revised Phylogeny Reveals Species Accumulation through Time Rather than Rapid Radiation
TLDR
A new phylogeny of Angraecum is presented based on chloroplast sequence data, nuclear ribosomal data, and 39 morphological characters from 194Angraecinae species of which 69 were newly sampled, and the newly described character, position of the labellum (uppermost and lowermost), was the main character delimiting clades within a monophyletic AngraECum sensu stricto.
An updated classification of Orchidaceae
TLDR
A revised classification of Orchidaceae is presented including a list of all 736 currently recognized genera, and three new tribes are recognized within Epidendroideae, which has been much clarified by analyses of multiple plastid DNA regions and the low-copy nuclear gene Xdh.

Molecular phylogenetics of Vandeae (Orchidaceae) and the evolution of leaflessness.
TLDR
A change in leaf morphology, monopodial growth habit, and aeration complexes for gas exchange in photosynthetic roots seem to be the most important characters in making the evolutionary transition to leaflessness.
New orchids from the Flora Zambesiaca region.
TLDR
Terrestrial herb 10-16 cm high, tubers testicular, ellipsoid, papillose, up to 14 mm long and 6 mm broad, withered at time of flowering.
