While the occurrence of an accessory spleen is not uncommon, the development of the accessory splenic cyst in pancreas is an extremely rare lesion. To date, 19 cases of epidermoid cysts from intrapancreatic accessory spleen have been reported, with 11 of them in the English literature [1–6].
