Eosinophil cationic proteins (ECP), eosinophil protein X (EPX), eosinophil peroxidase (EPO), eosinophil-derived neurotoxin (EDN), and the major basic protein (MBP) have been identified as potent cytotoxic secretory proteins in degranulated eosinophils.
