Abstract

5-Bromo-2’-deoxyuridine-2-14C was prepared from 5-bromouracil-2-14C and 2’-de-oxyguanosine using trans-N-deoxyribosylase fromLactobacillus helveticus and incorporated into DNA ofAllium cepa roots.
