The Entropically Damped Artificial Compressibility (EDAC) method of Clausen [2013] is an interesting alternative to the traditional artifical compressibility technique. We apply the EDAC method in the context of Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics. In this work we present preliminary results for this method. The method is easy to implement in a standard SPH framework.
