BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE In order to compare diodes and TLD for in vivo dosimetry, systematic measurements of entrance and exit doses were performed with semiconductor detectors and thermoluminescent dosemeters for brain and head and neck patients treated isocentrically with external photon beam therapy.
