We consider a pair of two-level Unruh-DeWitt detectors accelerated uniformly in the Minkowski vacuum of a massless neutral scalar field, and analyze, within the perturbation theory, the entanglement extracted from the vacuum into the Unruh-DeWitt detectors when the switching of the detectors are performed adiabatically enough at the asymptotic past and future. We consider the cases where the detectors are accelerated parallelly, anti-parallelly, and in differently orientated directions. We show…

Fate of entanglement between two Unruh-DeWitt detectors due to their motion and background temperature
Abstract We investigate the fate of initial entanglement between two accelerated detectors with respect to an observer attached to one of the detectors. Both (1 + 1) and (1 + 3) spacetime dimensions
Entanglement harvesting for Unruh-DeWitt detectors in circular motion
We study the properties of the transition probability and entanglement harvesting phenomenon for circularly accelerated detectors locally interacting with massless scalar fields. The dependence of
Role of thermal field in entanglement harvesting between two accelerated Unruh-DeWitt detectors
Abstract We investigate the effects of field temperature T(f) on the entanglement harvesting between two uniformly accelerated detectors. For their parallel motion, the thermal nature of fields does
Unruh effect for detectors in superposition of accelerations
The Unruh effect is the phenomenon that accelerated observers detect particles even when inertial observers experience the vacuum state. In particular, uniformly accelerated observers are predicted
Constructing an entangled Unruh Otto engine and its efficiency
Abstract Uniformly accelerated frame mimics a thermal bath whose temperature is proportional to the proper acceleration. Using this phenomenon we give a detailed construction of an Otto cycle
Entangled quantum Unruh Otto engine is more efficient
We propose a relativistic quantum Otto cycle between an entangled state of two qubits and their composite excited (or ground) state whose efficiency can be greater than the usual single qubit quantum

Quantum teleportation in vacuum using only Unruh-DeWitt detectors
We consider entanglement extraction into two two-level Unruh-DeWitt detectors from a vacuum of a neutral massless quantum scalar field in a four-dimensional spacetime, where the general monopole
Acceleration-assisted entanglement harvesting and rangefinding
We study entanglement harvested from a quantum field through local interaction with Unruh-DeWitt detectors undergoing linear acceleration. The interactions allow entanglement to be swapped locally
Entanglement creation between two causally disconnected objects
We study the full entanglement dynamics of two uniformly accelerated Unruh-DeWitt detectors with no direct interaction in between but each coupled to a common quantum field and moving back-to-back in
Spacetime structure and vacuum entanglement
We derive the structure of the density matrix for two Unruh-DeWitt detectors coupled to a massless scalar field to all orders of perturbation theory, in spacetimes admitting a well-defined Wightman
Quantum teleportation between moving detectors
We consider the quantum teleportation of continuous variables modeled by Unruh-DeWitt detectors coupled to a common quantum field initially in the Minkowski vacuum. An unknown coherent state of an
Disentanglement of two harmonic oscillators in relativistic motion
We study the dynamics of quantum entanglement between two Unruh-DeWitt detectors, one stationary (Alice), and another uniformly accelerating (Rob), with no direct interaction but coupled to a common
Notes on black-hole evaporation
This paper examines various aspects of black-hole evaporation. A two-dimensional model is investigated where it is shown that using fermion-boson cancellation on the stress-energy tensor reduces the
Effect of relativistic acceleration on localized two-mode Gaussian quantum states
This work introduces a generalized Rindler frame of reference and analytically derives the corresponding state transformation as a Gaussian channel for non-vacuum Gaussian states of two localized wave packets, providing several new insights into the phenomenon of vacuum entanglement.
Harvesting entanglement from the black hole vacuum
We implement the entanglement harvesting protocol, in which two Unruh-DeWitt detectors become entangled through local interactions with a quantum field, for the first time in the vicinity of a black
Entanglement from the Vacuum
We explore the entanglement of the vacuum of a relativistic field by letting a pair of causally disconnected probes interact with the field. We find that, even when the probes are initially
