In this paper, we report on our attempt at assigning semantic information from FrameNet to lexical units in VALLEX, a valency lexicon of Czech verbs. We focus on the class of communication verbs. We experiment with assigning FrameNet semantic frames to lexical units for communication verbs. The second task consists in linking their valency complementations with FrameNet frame elements.
