It is shown that production of low-mass e+e-\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$$e^+e^-$$\end{document}-pairs in ultraperipheral nuclear collisions is enhanced due to the Sommerfeld–Gamow–Sakharov (SGS) factor.
