Adipose derived mesenchymal stem cells (AdMSCs) have been demonstrated to have ability to differentiate into several cell lineages, including endothelial cells. The low endothelial differentiation efficiency, however, limits further clinical application of AdMSCs for therapeutic angiogenesis.
