In a certain kind of ferrimagnets, the net spin angular momentum in the magnet vanishes at a certain temperature, called the angular momentum compensation temperature (${T}_{A}$). The angular momentum compensation is key for high-speed magnetic devices because the magnetization can be swiftly switched due to no inertia of the spin angular momentum accompanied by the magnetic moment.
