Abstract The present work states the removal of organic compound using CuS photocatalyst under visible light irradiation. The CuS photocatalysts were synthesized by hydrothermal method by using copper nitrate as copper precursor and thiourea, sodium thiosulphate as sulfur precursors via hydrothermal route.
