PURPOSE To determine whether mouse embryonic stem cell conditioned medium (ESC-CM) increases the proliferative capacity of human corneal endothelial cells (HCECs) in vitro. METHODS Primary cultures of HCECs were established from explants of the endothelial cell layer, including the Descemet's membrane.
