Chirality in a mixture system consisting of bent-core 1,3-phenylene bis[4-(4-8-alkoxyphenyliminomethyl)benzoates] (P8-O-PIMB) and rod-like n-pentyl-cyanobiphenyl (5CB) molecules has been studied.
