Doxorubicin-loaded long-circulating liposomes (Doxil, ALZA Corp.) were additionally modified with the nucleosome-specific monoclonal antibody 2C5 (mAb 2C5) recognizing a broad variety of tumor cells via the tumor cell surface-bound nucleosomes.
