Thermoelectric power waves, where multiwalled carbon nanotubes coated with cyclotrimethylene trinitramine (MWCNT/TNA) directly convert chemical energy to electricity, have received considerable attention recently. However, the low Seebeck coefficient of carbon nanotubes has been regarded as a hurdle to increasing the electrical potential.
