Type I collagen–PEO Ž bers and non-woven Ž ber networks were produced by the electrospinning of a weak acid solution of puriŽ ed collagen at ambient temperature and pressure. As determined by high-resolution SEM and TEM, Ž ber morphology was in uenced by solution viscosity, conductivity, and  ow rate. Uniform Ž bers with a diameter range of 100–150 nm were produced from a 2-wt% solution of collagen–PEO at a  ow rate of 100 1l min¡1.
