Endoscopic sonography in the diagnosis and treatment of a gastric wall abscess: a case report and review of the literature.


We report a case of a gastric wall abscess in a 50-year-old man who presented with epigastralgia and fever. Gastroscopy revealed a subepithelial lesion on the posterior wall of the gastric body into the antrum. A follow-up abdominal CT scan showed cystic lesions around the stomach.
