Standard microscopical transsphenoidal surgery is used world-wide in most sellar lesions, but continuing technological progress leaves room for further possibilities. The authors have employed a slightly modified Jho-Carrau technique for endoscopic endonasal transsphenoidal removal of pituitary lesions.
