Effects of methylenedianiline were investigated in the rat, the rabbit, and the dog.In the castrate female rat, this compound produced adrenal hypertrophy, enlargement of the uterus, and was goitrogenic. In the dog, methylcnedianiline effected a marked inhibition of adrenal 17-hydroxycorticoid secretion. In the immature female rabbit, this compound elicited progcstational proliferation of the endometrium which was shown to be adrenal-dependent.
