In order to effectively deliver traffic from different applications, providing end-to-end Quality of Service (QoS) is critical in Long Term Evolution (LTE) networks. Mobility requires special handling of QoS enforcement rules and methods. The LTE QoS Signaling (LQSIG) protocol presented in this paper will allow ensuring resource reservation before using a data path.
