Emr-2 is an emetine-resistant (Emr) Chinese hamster ovary cell mutant that contains a single electrophoretically altered ribosomal protein, a component of its 40S ribosomal subunit [Boersma, D., McGill, S., Mollenkamp, J. & Roufa, D.J.
