The microCHP devices can have important role in case of stand-alone emergency supply mode. We investigated the possible operational modes and the transitions between the network - island mode and also the load and driving torque change. Also we defined the requirements for the black start capability. Finally we simulated the dynamic changes by MATLAB Simulink.
