A bstractWe compute the equivariant elliptic genera of several classes of ALE and ALF manifolds using localization in gauged linear sigma models. In the sigma model computation the equivariant action corresponds to chemical potentials for U(1) currents and the elliptic genera exhibit interesting pole structure as a function of the chemical potentials. We use this to decompose the answers into polar terms that exhibit wall crossing and universal terms. We compare our results to previous results…
Squashed Toric Sigma Models and Mock Modular Forms
We study a class of two-dimensional $${\mathcal{N}=(2,2)}$$N=(2,2) sigma models called squashed toric sigma models, using their Gauged Linear Sigma Models (GLSM) description. These models are
Quarter-BPS states in orbifold sigma models with ADE singularities
A bstractWe study the elliptic genera of two-dimensional orbifold CFTs, where the orbifolding procedure introduces du Val surface singularities on the target space. The N=4$$ \mathcal{N}=4 $$
N=(4,4) Gauged Linear Sigma Models for Defect Five-branes
We study two-dimensional ${\cal N}=(4,4)$ gauged linear sigma model (GLSM). Its low energy effective theory is a nonlinear sigma model whose target space gives rise to a configuration of five-branes
Holomorphic anomalies, fourfolds and fluxes
Abstract We investigate holomorphic anomalies of partition functions underlying string compactifications on Calabi-Yau fourfolds with background fluxes. For elliptic fourfolds the partition
Quantum dynamics of supergravity on R3 × S1
A bstractWe study the quantum dynamics of N=1$$ \mathcal{N}=1 $$ supergravity in four dimensions with a compact spatial circle. Supersymmetry ensures that the perturbative contributions to the
Semi-doubled gauged linear sigma model for five-branes of codimension two
A bstractWe establish a double dualization in two-dimensional supersymmetric gauge theory. We construct a gauged linear sigma model (GLSM) which contains a complex twisted linear superfield coupled
Localized Kaluza-Klein 6-brane
Abstract We study the membrane wrapping mode corrections to the Kaluza-Klein (KK) 6-brane in eleven dimensions. We examine the localized KK6-brane in the extended space in E7(7) exceptional field
An elliptic triptych
A bstractWe clarify three aspects of non-compact elliptic genera. Firstly, we give a path integral derivation of the elliptic genus of the cigar conformal field theory from its non-linear sigma-model
Supersymmetric index on T^2 x S^2 and elliptic genus
We study partition function of four-dimensional N = 1 supersymmetric field theory on T 2 ×S 2 . By applying supersymmetry localization, we show that the T 2 ×S 2 partition function is given by
K3 string theory, lattices and moonshine
In this paper, we address the following two closely related questions. First, we complete the classification of finite symmetry groups of type IIA string theory on $$K3 \times {\mathbb {R}}^6$$K3×R6,

A bstractWe compute exactly the partition function of two dimensional $ \mathcal{N} $ = (2, 2) gauge theories on S2 and show that it admits two dual descriptions: either as an integral over the
M‐strings, elliptic genera and N = 4 string amplitudes
We study mass‐deformed N = 2 gauge theories from various points of view. Their partition functions can be computed via three dual approaches: firstly, (p,q)‐brane webs in type II string theory using
