The measurements of the (anti)deuterons elliptic flow ($v_2$) and the first measurements of triangular flow ($v_3$) in Pb-Pb collisions at a center-of-mass energy per nucleon-nucleon collisions $\sqrt{s_{\mathrm{NN}}}$ = 5.02 TeV are presented. A mass ordering at low transverse momentum ($p_{\rm T}$) is observed when comparing these measurements with those of other identified hadrons, as expected from relativistic hydrodynamics. The measured (anti)deuterons $v_2$ lies between the predictions… Expand

Measurement of deuteron spectra and elliptic flow in Pb–Pb collisions at $$\sqrt{s_{\mathrm {NN}}}$$sNN = 2.76 TeV at the LHC
The transverse momentum ($$p_\mathrm{T}$$pT) spectra and elliptic flow coefficient ($$v_{2}$$v2) of deuterons and anti-deuterons at mid-rapidity ($$|y|<0.5$$|y|<0.5) are measured with the ALICEExpand

Abstract The production of light (anti-)(hyper-)nuclei in heavy-ion collisions at the LHC is considered in the framework of the Saha equation, making use of the analogy between the evolution of theExpand
Eccentricity fluctuations and elliptic flow at RHIC
• Physics

Abstract Fluctuations in nucleon positions can affect the spatial eccentricity of the overlap zone in nucleus–nucleus collisions. We show that elliptic flow should be scaled by differentExpand
Decoding the phase structure of QCD via particle production at high energy
• Physics, Medicine
• Nature

By analysing particle production in high-energy nuclear collisions, the phase boundary of strongly interacting matter is located and the phase structure of quantum chromodynamics is elucidated, implying quark–hadron duality. Expand
RELATIVISTIC HADRON-HADRON COLLISIONS IN THE ULTRA-RELATIVISTIC QUANTUM MOLECULAR DYNAMICS MODEL
Hadron-hadron (h-h) collisions at high energies are investigated in the ultra-relativistic quantum molecular dynamics (UrQMD) approach. This microscopic transport model describes the phenomenology ofExpand
Production of light nuclei, hypernuclei and their antiparticles in relativistic nuclear collisions
• Physics
