In these proceedings we discuss our recent work on $\gamma\gamma\to W^+_L W^-_L$ and $\gamma\gamma\to Z_L Z_L$ within the framework of Electroweak Chiral Lagrangians with a light Higgs. These observables are good candidates to provide indications of physics beyond the Standard Model and can complement other analyses and global fits. Making use of the equivalence theorem, we have performed the computation up to the next-to-leading order in the chiral expansion, i.e., including one-loop…

Strongly Interacting Electroweak Symmetry Breaking Sector with a Higgs-like light scalar
The apparent finding of a 125-GeV light Higgs boson closes unitarity of the minimal Standard Model (SM), that is weakly interacting: this is an exceptional feature not generally true if new physics

One-loop γγ → WL+WL− and γγ → ZLZL from the Electroweak Chiral Lagrangian with a light Higgs-like scalar
A bstractIn this work we study the γγ → WL+WL− and γγ → ZLZL scattering processes within the effective chiral Lagrangian approach, including a light Higgs-like scalar as a dynamical field together
Light 'Higgs', yet strong interactions
The claimed finding of a light Higgs boson makes the minimal Standard Model unitary. Yet, we recall that the general low-energy dynamics for the minimal electroweak symmetry breaking sector with
On the renormalization of the electroweak chiral Lagrangian with a Higgs
A bstractWe consider the scalar sector of the effective non-linear electroweak Lagrangian with a light “Higgs” particle. For a leading order Lagrangian, the complete one-loop off-shell
Effective theory of a dynamically broken electroweak Standard Model at NLO
A bstractWe consider the Standard Model as an effective theory at the weak scale v of a generic new strong interaction that dynamically breaks electroweak symmetry at the energy scale Λ ~ (few) TeV.
Longitudinal WW scattering in light of the “Higgs boson” discovery
WW scattering is dominated at high energies by their longitudinal components, which are the most sensitive to the nature of the electroweak symmetry breaking. Prior to the discovery at the LHC of a
Radiative corrections to WL WL scattering in composite Higgs models
The scattering of longitudinally polarized electroweak bosons is likely to play an important role in the elucidation of the fundamental nature of the Electroweak Symmetry Breaking sector and in
Unitarity and causality constraints in composite Higgs models
We study the scattering of longitudinally polarized W bosons in extensions of the Standard Model where anomalous Higgs couplings to gauge sector and higher order O(p^4) operators are considered.
On the effect of resonances in composite Higgs phenomenology
We consider a generic composite Higgs model based on the coset SO(5)/SO(4) and study its phenomenology beyond the leading low-energy effective lagrangian approximation. Our basic goal is to introduce
